WasteTracker is officially entering the French market, with its first system now live in a Paris office building. To lead this strategic expansion, Arnaud de Bettignies joins as Customer Success Manager France.
Paris has become the first city in France to welcome WasteTracker, the European waste intelligence platform helping commercial buildings turn waste data into measurable ESG progress.
With this launch, WasteTracker enters one of Europe’s most sustainability-driven real estate markets - where regulation, innovation, and environmental performance are reshaping how buildings operate.
French real-estate stakeholders are increasingly expected to demonstrate tangible progress toward ESG and circular-economy goals. Regulations such as RE2020, aimed at reducing the carbon impact of buildings, and the Loi Anti-Gaspillage pour une Économie Circulaire (AGEC), which tightens obligations on waste separation, reporting, and recycling, are reshaping how buildings operate. At the same time, new digital traceability systems like TrackDéchets and the National Waste Register (RNDTS) make it clear that the era of approximate reporting is over. Owners, Asset Managers, and Facility-management Operators need accurate, building-level data - not only to comply, but to prove progress to Investors and Tenants.
WasteTracker’s solution was built precisely for this need. Through a combination of hardware, software, and mentorship, it enables Owners and Tenants to measure, manage, and minimize waste in a unified, transparent way:
That data empowers real-estate stakeholders to optimize collection schedules, track recycling performance, and feed reliable figures directly into ESG reports. In short, WasteTracker helps move from estimates to evidence.
To establish a strong presence in France, WasteTracker has appointed Arnaud de Bettignies as Customer Success Manager to lead clients and partnerships in the region. Arnaud brings over a decade of experience bridging the real estate and environmental technology sectors — making him uniquely positioned to help French Property Owners meet growing ESG and circular-economy demands.

Before joining WasteTracker, Arnaud played a key role in the expansion of IWG (Regus, HQ, Spaces) across Western France, building partnerships with leading Landlords and Investors. Earlier in his career, at SUEZ RV France and SUEZ Île-de-France, he supported both public and private clients in implementing large-scale waste-management and recovery programs. He later managed international portfolios of water and waste analysis technologies at Aqualabo, promoting innovative environmental solutions across Europe.
“France is at the intersection of sustainability ambition and regulatory precision,” said Arnaud de Bettignies, Customer Success Manager France at WasteTracker. “WasteTracker’s technology gives Property Managers the visibility they need to act - not just to comply, but to run their buildings smarter. I’m excited to help French clients turn regulation into opportunity.”
Already active in over 120 buildings across seven European countries, WasteTracker’s plug-and-play solution is set to become a European benchmark for waste in buildings.
“France isn’t just setting sustainability goals - it’s executing them,” said Renata Hartle, CEO and Co-Founder of WasteTracker. “With our first system now operational in Paris, we’re proving that data-driven waste management can turn regulation into measurable results. WasteTracker transforms waste data into climate intelligence, helping French buildings demonstrate - not just declare - their ESG performance.”
