In 2023, Renata Hartle, a smart-building expert, was working with Invesco on Q22 — one of Warsaw’s most recognised office towers. The brief was clear: smarter building, happier tenants, best-in-class certifications, automated ESG data. One piece was missing — how to measure and report waste, for the landlord and every tenant, in a way that actually worked.
So she built one. Together with Tomasz Felczyk — a software architect and technology problem-solver — she designed WasteTracker from the ground up. Six months later the company was incorporated. Twelve months after that, the system was running in 48 buildings across three countries.
Today WasteTracker operates across 170+ properties in 9 European countries, serving some of the continent’s most demanding asset managers, property teams and corporate occupiers.
What started as a data problem turned into something bigger: a mission to bring commercial real estate onto the path to Zero Waste.

Real estate, technology, operations, customer experience — we have lived the problem we are solving, on both sides of the building.
15+ years in commercial real estate, expert in introducing new operational standards, designing and implementing smart building platforms.
10+ years scaling SaaS platforms, designing software architecture and leading technology research initiatives.
From WiredScore. Knows real estate inside out, understanding exactly what building owners and users need. Leads WasteTracker across the UK and Netherlands.
Combined experience at Suez (waste industry) and IWG (real estate), a rare profile that sees both sides of the waste contract. Leads WasteTracker across France and Benelux.
Property management background at Colliers and White Star. Owns the international deployment standard at WasteTracker and walks alongside clients as they adopt the platform to hit waste and cost targets.
From Digital Real Estate Poland. Builds and develops waste management processes inside client portfolios, bridging strategy, operations and the people who run the buildings.
Over 50 years of combined real estate experience sits behind WasteTracker. We know the building from the lease to the loading dock. We care about what waste does to a building, a budget and the planet. That care shows in the data we hand you, and in how we work alongside your team.
Half of us are certified Zero Waste mentors. For all of us, sustainability is a measured number: waste captured at source, per type, and audit-ready. A mix of skills, backgrounds and characters, each adding something the rest of us rely on. Together we measure, manage and minimise waste in your building.

We believe the future of commercial real estate involves smart waste metering as a standard — and we are building for it every day.
One purpose holds the team together: make waste measurable, on every building, as a standard. Implementing one methodology, one number everyone can trust.
We set the standard, others follow. We create the waste intelligence category, and we keep testing, learning and listening to customers to stay ahead of what buildings need next.
Love is earned in the details. We work side by side with every partner - from the raw number to the report, the strategy, the cost line - until the improvement is real: lower CO2, less time reporting, money saved, or all at once.
