Office building

WasteTracker in Q22

Q22 replaced manual waste estimates with real-time, tenant-level waste data in one of Warsaw’s landmark office buildings.

Q22 is a 53,000 sqm office and retail building in Warsaw, owned by Invesco Real Estate and managed by CBRE. With Deloitte as anchor tenant and 31 companies reporting, the building needed a more accurate way to understand waste production, improve ESG reporting and give tenants direct access to their own data.

Before WasteTracker, waste reporting was based on manually documented container pickups, assumed container weights and tenant allocation by floor size. In June 2024, Q22 introduced WasteTracker to register waste at source, automate reporting and build a clearer baseline for reduction.

Over a selected period, the building recorded 3,370 individual registrations and 12,000+ kg of waste per month, with a 44% segregation rate. Tenants see their own waste data. Property management sees building-wide performance. The waste room has become a source of operational evidence.
