WasteTracker in King Cross Marcelin
King Cross Marcelin turned waste from 130+ retail tenants into real-time data for reporting, accountability and reduction.

King Cross Marcelin is a 45,000 sqm shopping and entertainment centre in Poznań, owned by EPP. With 130+ tenants across fashion, electronics, beauty, hypermarket, dining, cafés, entertainment and services, waste management depends on many people, waste types and daily disposal habits.
In May 2025, WasteTracker was introduced to structure that complexity. The implementation covered planning, Terminal installation, tenant training, card registration and close onboarding support for the centre team. During on-site training, 220+ operators were registered to use the WasteTracker Terminal.
After 1 month, 125+ tenants were actively reporting, with 6,100+ individual registrations and 29,000 kg of waste recorded. Tenants gained access to their own waste data. The centre team gained a clearer view of segregation, reporting and the next waste reduction actions.
